Mark Wood ruled out of IPL 2022 due to right elbow injury 

 

England Speed star Mark Wood is ruled out from IPL 2022 due elbow injury. Mark Wood picked by Lucknow Super Giants for 7.5 Crore in IPL auction last month. This massive loss Lucknow Super Giants just a week before of the start of the event.

 Before Mark Wood other two England player have ruled out from IPL. Indian Premier league is going to start from 26th of march,2022. England batting gun, Jason Roy was picked by Gujrat titans in auction for IPL 2022.Another England batter Alex Hales who had picked by Kolkata Knight Riders has already Withdrawal from IPL 2022.Australian captain will replace the England opener for KKR.

Mark Wood picked a right elbow injury during first test against west indies in North Sound last week. He will not participate in remainder tour of west indies. Loss of mark wood will disturb the LSG pace attack. Other than Lucknow Super Giants has West Indies all-rounder Jason Holder, Australia all-rounder Marcus Stoinis and Sri Lanka quick Dushmantha Chameera are the other overseas fast bowlers in LSG squad for IPL 2022.

Mark Wood elbow injury is not only sign of worry for Lucknow Super Giants but also big problem for England cricket team. Jofra Archer is already not with England cricket team because of his injury. So, in these time the loss of Mark Wood is also effect the England pace and their ongoing campaign against West Indies.
