Barcelona beat their rivals real Madrid in the Women’s champion league Quarterfinal with a final score of 5-2. After beating Real Madrid in front of 91,533 spectators Barcelona secured their place in the semi-finals of the Women’s Champions League.

They were greeted by silence last time out as they thrashed Espanyol 5-0 last January, with the height of Covid restrictions meaning no one was there to watch.

This was the record-breaking attendance of fans in any women’s football match.
