Cristiano Ronaldo's flee to Portugal and Manchester
United manager Ralf Rangnick's reaction
Cristiano Ronaldo flees home after being missed out against Manchester City. Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick has benched Ronaldo on a few occasions since his arrival. Cristiano Ronaldo missed the 4-1 defeat by Manchester City on Sunday. Ronaldo has a hip flexor injury that sidelined him for FA Cup and Premier League matches against Aston Villa in January.
Ronaldo completed a full training session on Thursday and could come back to the playing XI against Tottenham in United's last Premier League fixture for three weeks.
Ralf Rangnick said about Ronaldo's absence against
City. "I didn't know anything about that trip. It doesn't make sense now
to waste energy and deal with it because the games we have to play now are too
important.
Manchester United is struggling to finish in the top
four in the Premier League. They lost to local rivals, Manchester City, in
their league match yesterday, by a score of 4-1, piling more pressure on Ralf
Rangnick.
When asked Rangnick if Ronaldo is happy at United, Rangnick said: “I
haven’t asked him if he’s happy at Manchester, at this club, he’s fit again,
resumed training yesterday and we shall see which formation we will line up
with tomorrow.”
So, the flee of Ronaldo to Portugal is
not good news for Manchester united.
Bigg loss for Manchester United.
